How to Convert Fat32 To NTFS Without Losing Data

FAT32 and NTFS are widely using drive formats in desktop computers. FAT32 have some disadvantages. For example, its maximum single file size is 4GB and 2TB is the maximum partition capacity. To avoid this we can able to convert the drive from FAT32 to NTFS.


STEPS FOR CONVERING FAT32 TO NTFS WITHOUT LOSING DATA


Step 1:  Open Command Prompt 




Step 2: In the Command Prompt, type convert drive-letter:/fs:ntfs and press Enter.
             Eg: In our case I am going to convert my USB drive which is connected to my computer and                          its  drive letter is "j". My command will be,  convert j:/fs:ntfs 



Step 3: Wait for the format to complete.



Done! Now you can start to use your drive in NTFS without destroying your data.
