How to Download And Install Google Chrome Flex OS On Windows PC

 

On 2011 Google introduced Chrome OS. Now the tech gain  comes with Chrome OS Flex. This latest version is compatible with Windows and MAC systems. Chrome OS Flex is built on a Linux platform. Os mainly based with Chrome web browser and cloud storage.

 Currently this OS is under development stage and also it feels some missing. The installation procedures are totally different from others operating systems. You can download and install by following the steps mentioned below.

Steps To Download And Install Google Chrome OS Flex On Windows PC.

1. Open Google Chrome web browser and go to chrome web store.

2. Find Chromebook recovery utility extension and click add to chrome.      Direct Link

3.  Click Add Extension.

4. After successful installation of the extension, click on the chrome recovery utility icon as shown in        the image below.

5. Now utitlity window opens, Click on Get Started

6. Click on " Select a model from a list".

7. Select "Google Chrome OS Flex" & " Chrome OS Flex (Developer-Unstable)" from the drop down        and Click continue.

8. Connect your USB drive (Minimum 8GB) to your system and select the USB drive from the list.

9. Click Continue.

10. Click Create now (This process format your USB Drive)

11. Wait for the process to complete.

12. After downloading, verifying and writing process, you  will get a success message.

13. Disconnect the USB Drive and connect to the system which want to install Chrome OS Flex.

14. Power on the machine and press the boot order key

15. Select the USB Drive having Chrome OS Flex.

16. Select your language and click on Get Started.

17. Select Install CloudReady 2.0 and Click Next.

18. Click Install CloudReady 2.0

19. Click Install.

20. Wait for the installation.

21. After successful installation, reboot the system.

22. Wait for Chrome OS to load.

23. Click on Get Started

24. Select your network and click next.

25. Select who is using the device and click next. 

26. Sign in with your Google Account.

27. Click Accept and continue.

28. Click Accept and continue.

29. Click I agree.

30. Click I agree.

31. Connect your android device and click Accept and Continue.

32. The installation process is completed.

33. Enjoy your new Chrome OS Flex device.
